iMG. Community Terms & Conditions
Your Membership begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. Membership to the IMG Community is paid monthly or annually, but subject to a minimum term of 12 months from the initial payment.
1. Monthly Membership Payments
1.1. You authorise us to securely store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month or year, depending on the membership you chose when joining, until you cancel.
1.2. For monthly memberships we will automatically charge you the then current fee for your membership, plus applicable taxes such as VAT (if the fee does not include it), every month of your minimum term until you cancel.
1.3. Annual memberships will automatically renew each year until you cancel your membership.
1.4. If your primary payment method fails, you authorise us to charge any other payment method in your account. If you have not provided us a backup payment method(s) and you fail to provide payment, or if all payment methods in your account fail, we may suspend your membership, or deduct unpaid amounts from future invoices.
2. The Inspired Marketing Group Membership
2.1. The membership has three tiers; IMG Influencer, IMG Maestro, IMG Genius. All members start at our Influencer level and progress through to the top level of Genius over time.
2.2. Progression is achieved via, but not limited to, membership tenure, quality of work produced on behalf of us and customer feedback.
2.3. It is at the sole discretion of The Inspired Marketing Group what level a member is given and how, and how quickly they progress through the levels.
2.4. The Inspired Marketing Group also reserves the right, without notice, to demote the level of membership or expel a member based on, but not limited to, the quality of work produced on behalf of us and customer feedback.
2.5. We reserve the right to, and you also agree to allowing us to, deduct any unpaid membership amounts from payments due to be made to you for services you provide to use under our Marketing Services Agreement.
2.6 You are authorised to advertise your association with The Inspired Marketing Group, specifically on LinkedIn, and are granted to use logos whilst you have a valid membership. You are only permitted to advertise your employment type as “Contract” or “Freelance” and are precluded from mentioning any association with any customer of ours. This includes, specifically but not limited, to the use of customers logos and/or names.
3. Access to The Inspired Marketing Email Domain
3.1. You will be provided with access to a personal email address for The Inspired Marketing Group.
3.2. The email address remains the sole property of us.
3.3. You agree that we can access and review the content of your email account.
3.4. You agree that should any monthly membership fees lapse, or at the end of any project delivered under our Marketing Services Agreement, or at our sole discretion access to the email account can be temporarily removed, revoked and/or deleted.
4. Referral of Work
4.1. If you refer work to us and this moves to a live project, we agree to pay you 5% of the contract value as a one-time referral bonus.
4.2. Payment will be made within 30 days of the payment being received by us from the customer for this specific project.
5. Guarantee of work
5.1. Your membership fee grants you access to our email system, tech stack, community and referral scheme but does not guarantee you will receive projects on behalf of The Inspired Marketing Group.
5.2. When we win a new customer, we select a virtual team from our community based on the customers’ requirements and your skill set
5.3. As we cannot guarantee customer wins or your availability to work on projects we aren’t able to guarantee work from your membership.
6. Permission to use your image on our website
6.1. By joining the iMG. Community you grant us permission and consent to use your LinkedIn profile picture along with a brief biography of your experience, skillset and sector experience which will be placed on our website (TheIMGroup.co.uk) for presentation under any legal condition, including but not limited to: publicity, copyright purposes, illustration, advertising web content and internal use.
6.2. You acknowledge and agree that there shall be:
6.2.1 No payment for this release.
6.2.2 No royalty, fee, or other compensation will become payable to you by reason of such use.
6.3. You can revoke this authorisation at any time by notifying us by email at hello@TheIMGroup.co.uk.
6.4 The revocation will not affect any actions taken before the receipt of this written notification. Images will be stored in a secure location and only authorised staff will have access to them. They will be kept as long as they are relevant and after that time destroyed or archived.
7. Professional Indemnity Insurance
7.1. To work with us, you confirm you hold up to date and valid Professional Indemnity Insurance.
7.2. You agree to provide proof of insurance on request.
76.3. You acknowledge and agree that if your insurance lapses we can cancel your membership, without notice.
8. Changes to VAT
8.1. If the applicable VAT changes during your existing Membership we will accordingly adjust the tax-inclusive price for your plan mid-term on your next billing date.
9. Your rights to cancel
9.1. You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing hello@TheIMGroup.co.uk and providing us with 28 days’ notice.
9.2. We’ll then ensure no further payments are taken after your notice period has passed.
9.3. Your member will stop at the end of the 28 days’ notice period and access to all systems and email accounts will be removed.
10. Renewal of Membership
10.1. Around 30 days before your IMG Community anniversary we’ll contact you and ask if you wish to renew your membership for a further 12 months, under the same Terms and Conditions.
10.2. We may change your membership fee or level on your anniversary as part of the renewal of your membership. We will notify you of any fee change with the option to cancel.
